The Tulsa Jr Oilers announced today the resigning of forward Hunter Best, defenseman Garrett Bryan and forward Dylan Faraoni.
Hunter played in 44 games for the Oilers last season and was one of the top points leaders for the team. Coach Magers is looking forward to Hunter’s return. “Hunter is a high end player when he wants to be. He’s young, but can play like a vet. I’m looking for a lot out of him this year.”
Garrett was acquired from the El Paso Rhinos midway through the Oilers season last year playing in 27 games. “Garrett’s a mature player that we will look to use in regular and special teams this year,” said Head Coach Marty Magers. “I’m looking for him to bring leadership to the team this year.”
Dylan, a Colorado native, returns to the Oilers after spending all but 6 games with Tulsa. Coach Magers agrees Dylan’s full season with the team will help him transition into this season. “Dylan comes to us with almost a full year with the team. I hope to be able to use him in a lot of situations this season.”
Along with the three returners, the Oilers have recently added Augusts Ricards Veidenbaums, a forward from Riga, Latvia.
