The Tulsa Junior Oilers are very pleased to announce the return of Defense-man Sam Hiserodt and Forward Sam Mancini.
Sam Mancini returns to the Oilers after finishing off last season with the Oklahoma City Blazers. Coach Magers weighed in on Mancini’s return. “Sam comes back for his final season of juniors. We are looking for leadership and for him to be a go to guy. He has proved to be a guy that can log the minutes and play in every situation.” Mancini was the team leader in points last year for the Oilers. “We are excited to have Mancini back again this year,” said GM Justin Lund. “We look for Sam to do great things on and off the ice this year.”
Sam Hiserodt returns for his fourth season as a Junior Oiler. “Hiserodt is coming back to be our 1-2 d man on the blue line,” said Head Coach Marty Magers. “We look for leadership and also a lot of play time. He can play with the best of the best in the defensive zone.” Sam has been a tremendous part of the Oilers organization since its inaugural season. “Sam has been with us since the start of our franchise,” said GM Justin Lund. “We have really enjoyed having him in Tulsa and look forward to him being here for another season.”
The Oilers start their first official practice next Tuesday.
