Defenseman Erich Polacik returns to Tulsa for his third season in a Jr. Oilers sweater. Polacik, a native of Slovakia, played in 42 games for Tulsa last season scoring 1 goal and 3 assists and massing 104 penalty minutes. During the 2015-16 season, he played for the Daytona Racers of the USP3HL before playing the final six games for Tulsa. Prior to his time in the United States, Polacik played for SHK KSK Bratislavia, SHK 37 Piestany, MHC Prievidza, and HC Topolcany in both the under-18 and under-20 leagues in his native Slovakia. Coach Marty Magers has said that he is excited to see Eric grow as a player and as an adult and be a leader of the team both on and off the ice.
